Getting Rid of Things

We’re getting prepared for the move to Richmond, and it’s time to pair down the material possessions. Here are some things that I will be willing to sell if anyone thinks it’s worth money, and given away otherwise. I’ll keep this list updated as I find more things and as things go away:

  • 22″ Flatscreen CRT monitor
    • This thing is huge. We got Henry’s old LCD just to save space and not have to pack this one. Make me an offer.
  • Loads of T-shirts. If you wear L or XL, come have your pick.
    • I’m putting some on eBay, but if you see something you want (and it doesn’t have any bids on it), just let me know.
  • PC TV Tuner card — WinFast TV 2000 XP Expert Edition (PCI interface)
    • Includes remote control, lots of cables, drivers, and whatnot.
    • It looks like this is going for about $40 on eBay. I’d be willing to sell it here for $30 obo.
    • I got this mainly to record The Screen Savers, and shortly after I got it I stopped getting extended cable. Then that show went off the air anyway. And now I have a Mac.
  • Lian Li PC-60 case (w/working computer inside). Coolest PC case ever. You’ll have to convince me to get rid of this, even though I need to.
  • Compact Flash cards and reader
    • 512MB, 128MB, 16MB
    • PC Card (laptop) card reader
  • Linksys 1-port 10/100 router
  • Wolverine and Spider-Man Pez dispensers
  • Books
    • Quite a few. Ask if you’re interested.
    • I’ve got a few listed on Amazon.
  • USB webcam w/microphone
    • If your computer has a microphone jack, this would be cool to have.
  • Magazines
    • Wired
    • Macworld

Oye! We’re doing the same thing this weekend it seems. What t-shirts do you have in large?

  2. Trey says:

Jason, if you see anything in the picture I posted that you like, I’ll check to see if it’s L or XL. I have a lot more t-shirts than this, but this is probably the best of them.

As well as the t-shirts, Megan went on a kick of getting me nice “work” shirts (for a “casual” work environment–they’re basically just nice button-up shirts and pullovers).

So how long before the big move?

  4. Trey says:

The plan is to be up there to start work on January 15th. Probably leaving Cookeville in a moving truck on the 13th.

Nice shirts (among all the other nice stuff), but I’ll have to pass. Plus, it’s not like I’d be doing you any favors with the move. Here’s wishing you luck selling the stuff (I seem to be having little :( ).
