As I was reading a post this morning and following via link after via link, I realized how cool it was to be able to see the path of the story as people wrote about it. I’ve often wished for an official way to put via links into my del.icio.us posts, because I like to be able to go back and follow that (usually) brief path myself (I can’t understand why most social bookmarking sites don’t offer this).
Would it be a good idea to take it one step further and have a microformat to markup via links so that we could automatically make those connections?
