Tonight was a lovely night for a Blizzard at DQ with friends. If I weren’t just a little concerned for my health, I would eat there way too often. I love DQ.

At the store tonight, there were three girls trying to buy some wine coolers. The clerk said she needed to see all of their IDs. One of them didn’t have it on her (maybe). No wine coolers for them.
What do you think of that? Is it fair for the store to do that? If someone is shopping with their child, they don’t have to show the children’s IDs to buy alcohol. Is that kind of thing store policy, or just the clerk trying to exert a little bit of authority in their otherwise non-authoritative position?
